Week of Firsts

It finally happened - Henry wanted to sleep in his big boy bed. And he slept the night away. I laid him down at 9 PM and he didn't move an inch until 7 AM the next morning. I think he actually sleeps better on his new bed than he did in his crib. The second morning after Henry slept in his bed, as I was getting out of the shower, there was a knock on the bathroom door. I opened the door and there he stood, ready for his morning cereal bar and blue berries. I was warned that naps would be the real challenge, but napping this weekend was no problem for Henry (knock on wood). Such a stud, our Henry.

The second first this past week happened during dinner time. Henry decided he was much too big for his high chair and opted for his booster chair. We've been using the booster chair ever since. And I couldn't be more thrilled to fold up the high chair and hide it in the garage...in a 1400 square foot house, every foot counts.

Henry claims his horse loves wearing cowboy hats...keeps the sun out of his eyes.

Henry woke to birds chirping (yea for spring) and had to see them! He immediately yelled "bird, bird" and ran intently to the bathroom to get his stool. He stood for 30 minutes at his window pointing and blowing kisses to the birds.

This here is a blue berry...it's my favorite food. Could eat "blues" seven days a week, three times a day.

Savoring every delicious bite.
