8 weeks

Henry was 8 weeks old on Friday...and will be two months on the 25th! He is smiling and cooing now. And has FINALLY developed somewhat of a schedule. Yeehaw! We were busy this past week...trying to squeeze lots in during our last week home together. I start back to work tomorrow. I'll be working half-time for the next two weeks. A transition period, if you will, before I start back 8 - 5. But a recent answered prayer has made going back okay. God found a nanny for Henry! We think the world of her and couldn't be happier.

Mamaw and Papaw - we miss you...hope you enjoy the pictures. Henry is growing like a weed!

Our first shopping adventure in OKC.

Bath time - our favorite time of day.

Our visit to Great Grandmother Shirley's.

We had the house sprayed for spiders and slumber partied in Blackwell to avoid the fumes.

Since Aunt Ann started graduate school this summer, she has become a Sooner. And she insisted on dressing Henry in an OU onsie. We all feel sorry for her and have warned Henry that it's better to be a Cowboy. If you ask me, he looks a bit embarrassed to be caught in crimson...we'll be sure he's wearing orange on game days.

This and That

Henry was the center of attention at his Sip & See, where he made lots of Blackwell friends.

Testing out his cowboy easy chair.

I think he's working on something here...

Rise and Shine...you can't hear him, but Henry is grunting loud enough to startle the neighbors. And I might add, it's 4:00 am.

Like father, like son.

One month well baby check-up

Henry got a good report from Dr. Wilsey on Thursday. Henry now weighs 11 lbs/9.8 ounces and is in the 80th percentile for size. He is going to be a big boy! But we knew that when the nurses screamed 24 inches in the operating room.

Dr. Wilsey gave us some new formula to try. Henry has been "spitting" more than average and Dr. Wilsey suspects he may have reflux. We're hopeful once Henry has been on the new formula for a few days he will be able to keep more food down. This would also mean he would eat less frequently, which would help us all. Currently, it seems all we do is feed and laundry. We go through 7 to 8 burp cloths a day...and I've lost track of the bib count.

Thank you Aunt Carolina for my new chair (and frames)! I also love my yellow ZOOM ZOOM onsie!! Don't I look handsome?!
