Disney Christmas Vacation - Part I

We started our family vacation on Friday afternoon...we drove to stay the night with Papa in order to sleep in one more hour...we still had to set the alarm for 3:30 AM to make our flight Saturday morning. Note to self - next trip, I book the flights.

We arrived in Orlando just in time to hear the unfortunate news that the Cowboys lost Bedlam. :(

But after Bedlam, everything was uphill. We enjoyed the afternoon in the Magic Kingdom and were able to squeeze in Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Walt Disney World Railroad, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and dinner at Liberty Tavern.

We kicked off Day 2 at Disney's Animal Kingdom and later gallivanted to Epcot.

Our chickadees, waiting patiently for the Animal Kingdom bus. The adult to children ration was 5:5.

At Animal Kingdom, we hit Expedition Everest first. This was the ride that made Wade sick last visit, so he volunteered to stay with the toddlers while the rest of us braved the mountain with Henry and Sam.
