Disney 2016 - Part III

Last, but certainly not least, Magic Kingdom Day! And the absolute BEST day...never mind it rained throughout the late morning and afternoon. And Charlie and Jack were both under the weather. We still had a fabulous time.

Our first FastPass of the day was Enchanted Tales with Belle. For Molly, of course. But Sam was in his element and thanks to his ferocious roar and natural ability to entertain (a characteristic he inherited from his cousin, Craig Riseling), Sam was selected to play the role of the Beast during the reenactment.

Adorned with his beastly cape and ornery smirk

Practicing his ROAAAAR!

Fairly good resemblance I'd say

A private dance with Belle, or "Your Majesty", which is how Sam addressed her. After their 1:1 interlude, Sam was on cloud nine and proudly declared, "Mom! I danced with a real princess!"

(Thanks to the "no flash photography" rule in Beast's castle, all of my photos are a bit blue and hazy...perhaps a ploy to purchase Disney's Memory Maker?)

And last, but certainly not least, Miss Molly got to meet Belle and add Belle's autograph to her collection.

Being that this was our last full day at Disney, and we had Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party that evening until MIDNIGHT, we opted for some R&R back at the hotel during most of the rain. And later recharged at 'Ohana for dinner.

'Ohana was conveniently located in our hotel, the Polynesian, which I highly recommend. The restaurant and hotel.

Back at the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

While the men, or at least most of them, went to tour the Hall of Presidents, Ann and I took Sam and Molly to visit characters (mostly princesses) and ride some Charlie and Jack friendly rides.

Henry and Sam were PUMPED to see Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck-It Ralph - one of their favorite Disney movies!

Way past Charlie's bedtime

After the parade, the kiddos got to pick ONE Disney souvenir to take home. Henry had a meltdown trying to decide between two Star Wars spaceships. We had to leave the store and come back later...a teachable moment for sure...when we returned, he decided on ONE package of multiple Star Wars figures. Clever boy.

Sam has always been a fan of stuffed animals and selected Stitch from Lilo & Stitch. And then was careful to include Stitch in every picture from that moment forward.
Molly selected a Belle Barbie.
Jack opted (with his mom and dad's help) for a set of cars from, you guessed it, Cars.
And finally, Charlie selected Tiger from Winnie the Pooh.

Molly is one of Tinkerbell's biggest fans. This was a dream come true.

A magical time was had by all.
