Holiday Road

With the help of Lindsey Buckingham (turn up your volume and jam with me), and some National Lampoon clips, our Holiday Road to Independence Day started early. Truth be told, during the summer months, most days feel like a holiday road. Especially when they involve water, naked toddlers and guitars.

How we roll most Saturdays...and Sundays...and evenings...and well, pretty much every day of the week.

(Notice the fort on its side in the background. Any and all friends well versed in the stabilization of wooden structures are welcome to join us for a play date in July.)

oh no! Did your playset fall over? We used to get a 2 x 4 cut into about 2-1/2 length, make one end to a V, drive it into the ground as far as we could with a little sledge hammer and then screw it to the corner of the playset. Use 3-4 screws. If you do that on the 4 corners, that should help hold it into the ground in these crazy Oklahoma winds.

Can I still come over for the play date even if my youngest is 16?
