My how he's grown!

Henry at less than 1 month old

Henry at almost 3 months old

Our two-year-old boy! Who finally grew hair!

Henry has enjoyed helping us assemble his old bouncer, swing, and much, much more. I walked into the nursery yesterday and found him sitting in the bouncer, reading his books. What a good big brother he is going to be!

Tomorrow is the big day! Thanks in advance for your prayers.

I swear he really was enjoying the day...

So, I gave Henry some cereal, left the room for two minutes (literally), and returned to find Henry decorating the hallway. Not a huge mess you might be thinking...but try getting down on all fours to clean when you're as round as I am. Needless to say, Henry is learning to help mommy clean up his messes and got good practice on this day.

Last doc visit before the big day!

We had our last doctor appointment today. Cesarean is still set for the 16th. Our doctor made me promise to call if my contractions get any worse (that's right...have been having contractions for awhile now), but I'm determined to make it. I promised the doc I'd call, got all the free goodies they give you on your last prenatal visit, and have an appointment with the Stillwater Fire Department today at noon. The Fire Department offers a great service to Stillwater moms - they have fire fighters certified in child safety that install car seats...and when they install your car seats, the things don't budge. Seriously...I don't know how they do it.

Less than eight days from now we'll be at the hospital! We can hardly wait to meet you, Peanut! You're going to have the best big brother in the whole world. We love you.

37 Weeks

We got a good report from the doctor today, who gives me a 50/50 chance of making it to my cesarean date - June 16. Other than the normal woes of being 37 weeks pregnant, we are doing great. And if we do go into labor early, our doctor is on call.

Peanut's kicks continue to get stronger and stronger, and he/she persistently aims for my bladder and every other internal organ from the chest down. I'm up at least 4 - 5 times each night waddling to the bathroom, I'm beginning to resemble a peach thanks to powerful prenatal vitamins, my stomach, once smooth and streak-free, now looks more like a road map, and my ankles take on an entirely new shape and form by 5 pm CST. All signs of a healthy baby...and all reasons to celebrate.

Thanks for your continued prayers during our last TWO WEEKS!
